Hello again, it’s been quite a while since I posted anything so I thought I would write about something I’ve really been enjoying using recently. This comes in the form of Korres Wild Rose Advance Repair Sleeping Facial.
This is the first time I’ve purchased something from Korres – it’s a brand that’s been on my radar for a while but there are always so many products I want to try that it’s taken a bit of a backseat. For those of you that haven’t heard of Korres before, it’s a “Greek skincare brand with roots in Athens’ first ever Homeopathic Pharmacy. Set up in 1996 with the aim to utilise its extensive scientific resources for the development of effective & safe products. It offers a natural & certified organic skincare and haircare range”.
I was looking for a new night cream and saw some really good reviews of this online, and its £26 price tag seemed quite reasonable and a lot more affordable than other night creams. This cream offers “Corrective facial skin retexturising. Velvety texture melts instantly into skin offering intense hydration and brightening. Boosted with Wild Rose oil, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid for a softer, smoother, more radiant skin by morning.” I’ve read conflicting reviews of the ‘corrective’ nature of this cream but I bought this because I wanted a decent dose of hydration. I’ve been using this cream for about four weeks and not only has it still got tons left (as you can see in the above picture), it’s definitely got rid of my dry patches on my chin and sides of my nose, and my skin feels softer too. The cream does have a gorgeous velvety texture which sinks in easily and isn’t too heavy, unlike some night creams
I also love the smell but it might put some people off, and if your skin is sensitive to fragranced products then this might not be the best option for you. But otherwise, I think this cream is lovely and great if you want an effective, organic skincare option.
